Weekly Inking Showcase: Grifter #6 Cover Art
For this Weekly Inking Showcase, we are featuring Grifter #6 Cover Art... and I decided it would be fun to show a bit of before and after, or pencils and inks. At this point in our working relationship, Scott Clark had gone 100% digital. And it made things easier for him and really difficult for me. I was still working hybrid. In order to ink this cover, I had to do it in pieces. Scott ended up asking for so many changes and needed additions per DC Editorial direction... I ended up almost completely recreating everything digitally. This would lead to me upgrading my Wacom tablet and moving more and more into working traditionally in order to produce the kind of work Scott really wanted to see.
