Weekly Inking Showcase: Grifter vs Green Arrow!
Today's Weekly Inking Showcase features Grifter vs Green Arrow! Grifter #4 features this showdown. As a big Green Arrow fan from back in the Longbow Hunter years with the awesome writing and art by Mike Grell... this was a real thrill. There are a couple Grifter books I'd recommend people check out cuz I'm proud of the work Scott Clark and I did on the series. This is one of them. I only wish we could also have drawn the cover. We did not take over covers until the next issue. This book started traditionally with ink on paper, and we finished it digitally. Whenever someone brings over the issue to sign, I always smile. And a lot of people would tell you I don't smile... but I do... sometimes. Enjoy this 3-page sequence with pencils by Scott and inks by me. -Dave B.
