Trading Card of the Week: Golden Age Hero Atoman
This week's Trading Card of the Week is Golden Age Hero Atoman. Atoman was created by Jerry Robinson and Ken Crossen way back in 1946 (Atoman #1). This character has been in the public domain for quite some time and has appeared here and there in various projects for at least a decade. Design-wise, the card is meant to be somewhat in the style of the Marvel Impel trading card series two. This was a free collector card I created to be given away at conventions. It's a one-off, as the original intent was to make one card for each hero of my Atomik Age project that will likely never happen at this point. If you got one, be aware I only printed 100 cards total. I'm currently working on a new 9-piece trading card set to debut later this year. And I hope to create and publish a new trading card set each year for a couple of years. I love trading cards, and I'm a non-sports card collector myself. Enjoy. -Dave B.
