DC Women of Legend: Dove
It was my pleasure to draw several official trading cards for sets. These were referred to as 'base card art'. Some people might ask how this is different from official 'sketch card art'. Base card art refers to the printed cards from the actual set and is often listed on a checklist if a checklist exists. Here for your viewing pleasure are the rough sketches, inks, and final colors for the DC Women of Legend card #14, Dove. Dove is an important character not only in her own series... Hawk & Dove... but also Brightest Day (which I worked on)... and the TV series Titans. -Dave B.
