Cover Art Weekly: Dark Meat #1

Cover Art Weekly: Dark Meat #1... The Janimal and I self-published a parody/industry commentary comic several years ago called Dark Meat. This image and the whole book were a loving homage to Frank Miller's work on Dark Knight Returns, and also my fav parody of DKR, Gnat Rat #1. I hope to put it back into print soon. It was a fun experiment at the time. We sold out pretty quickly and have been slow to reprint for numerous reasons. One of my fav cartoony-style covers I've done is the Eagle from Dark Meat. Here are the rough pencils, inks, and colors for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. -Dave B.
