Dick Tracy, the comic strip, has been in constant publication since 1931. Created by Chester Gould, it was at one time the most popular and influential comic strip in the United States. Batman's rogues' gallery would be a bit more bland, I feel, without the DIck Tracy comic strip's own rogues showing how fun, visually creative, and truly unique a villain could be.
